  Have just come back from a stay at the Seabreeze Hotel. It is very much in need of some upgrading and repairs. Our sliding door into the bathroom didn't slide. We had to lift it and virtually shove it along. One tap dripped constantly. The window could only be held open with a wooden wedge under it. The miniscule fridge had broken shelves so we could not stand anything upright in it. The curtains had a thick layer of dust in the pleats at the top. The bedside lamps were also very dusty which I dusted myself. The day that we arrived we were told that we could park out the back and come up the back stairs with all of our bags. When we got to the landing at the top of the stairs, there was a door. Just a door. No handle and absolutely no means to open it. Luckily one of their workers was out the back and went up and opened it for us. We then had trouble keeping it open as the wind was so strong. This hotel is in a perfect spot but certainly needs some work on it. The young man who we dealt with was very pleasant and helpful The bonus was free Wifi. We left a day early as we were quite bored. Not a lot to do in Tumby Bay if you don't fish plus it was good to get back to my home comforts. Made me really appreciate what I have.

  We were recommended to stay at The Seabreeze Hotel for 5 nights. What a big mistake that was and waste of money. The room was big but the fridge was so small you only could fit a few things and the ceiling was peeling off and dirty and bathroom was small. We had a leaking tap and they were going to move us in a smaller room with 3 beds and no room to move so we decided to stay in our room. The bed was so uncomfortable. We had a balcony which was nice but the nails were loose and I stepped on one and it hurt. The worst of all on Friday was our last night and we had a 6 hour drive home the next day. At 8:30pm they started playing music which didn't bother us however I waked up at 12:37am with music so loud you think you were in a nightclub. They kept turning down the music down and up about 5 times and each time it went louder. And people screaming. At 1am my husband went down to complain and the people were making fun of us. I was so scared they would come and try to get in that my husband had to check our door was locked. I never stayed at a place that I felt unsafe. It continued til 2am. If the staff told us this happens every Friday's we would be more than happy to work around it.
